NEW: 3+5+7 Minute Masonic Education

Brethren –

Thanks to the zeal of Bro. Bill Brown, we are pleased to announce a new Brant Lodge initiative: “3+5+7 Minute Masonic Education”. Bro. Brown facilitated the inaugural session during Coffee Club on January 21 to an audience of Brant Lodge members.

Bro. Brown examined the history of the use of white gloves in Freemasonry around the world, and reflected on the current treatment of the use of white gloves in our jurisdiction, the Grand Lodge of Canada in the Province of Ontario. The brethren joined Bro. Brown in an engaging discussion ranging from using gloves in Masonic memorial services, to the pros and cons of having an officer line wear gloves in our meetings.

Thank you, Bro. Brown, for kicking off this exciting new format for Masonic discourse!

There will be a 3+5+7 Minute Masonic Education session held for fifteen minutes every Sunday during our Coffee Club (9-11AM on Sundays), in the Lodge room. All members are encouraged to propose or deliver a talk/discussion about any topic that they would like. Some topics may be targeted to Masons of specific rank (E.A., F.C, M.M., I.M.), or open to all ranks.

Contact Bro. Bill Brown if you would like to volounteer to facilitate a session by emailing him with a title of the session, and a brief précis of content to be covered.
