The May regular meeting for Brant Lodge was a success, with W. Bro. Chris Webster presiding over the annual Step-Up night and directing the Officers’ Work in their stations for next Masonic year.
Bro. Reg Meecham was Raised to the 3rd Degree according to ancient custom, and enjoyed the high-quality work of a diverse degree team including visitor W.Bro. Steve Hearn, a friend of Reg who delivered the Traditional History with excellence.
W.Bro. Russ Dean was presented with a 50-year pin for his long tenure as a member of Brant Lodge No. 663, and he recounted ,with some humour, the story of how he came to be a Mason in Burlington. The Brethren gave Russ a warm round of applause fitting for Russ, who has so unselfishly devoted himself to the success of Brant Lodge over the years.
Once the Lodge was closed, the Brethren enjoyed some Fellowship in the Banquet Hall and the usual Queen’s Head team extended the evening well into the night.
