Brant Lodge will be presenting the DDGM of Hamilton District “A” with a donation cheque in support of MasoniChIP at our April meeting, the DDGM’s visit.
The MasoniChIP program is a police-approved process to create an identification kit for parents of young children. In the event that an emergency occurs, or if a child is lost, this kit can improve police and first-responders’ ability to locate and identify a child and contact the parents more efficiently. All information collected is burned on a CD-ROM and given to the parents, and no information is kept by the program or its volounteers – the parents have the sole copy, in keeping with privacy law.
The MasoniChIP kits are free of charge to parents, and all materials and equipment are paid for by Freemasons.
Brant Lodge members are encouraged to bring their donation cheques or cash to Coffee Club on any Sunday where W. Bro. Grant Wright will collect donations, or bring a cheque or cash donation to the March or April Regular Meetings.
