The Brethren of Brant Lodge opened lodge under the direction of W. Bro. Christopher Webster during step-up night, with the line officers in their next roles for the next Masonic year. After conducting regular business, Bro. Ian Citulsky was Raised according to ancient custom, and then the Brethren retired to the banquet hall for fellowship.
Bro. Citulsky has demonstrated an aptitude for ritual and has been a positive influence on new members and has motivated more experienced Brethren as well. Congratulations, Ian, on being Raised to the Third Degree and becoming a Master Mason!
The Masonic year is quickly drawing to a close, with only our June Regular meeting remaining – during which we will elect our 2011-2012 Master and Officers, and then retire for an evening of fellowship at W. Bro. Grant Wright’s house. Grant has been kind enough to arrange a “Secretary’s Reception” for the Brethren using the proceeds normally applied to a stipend for the Secretary’s services to the Lodge. Details about the reception to follow in the Summons and as a separate posting on this website. Please forward any ideas or comments to W. Bro. Grant Wright or Bro. Matthew Maennling.
Also a reminder to the Brethren to “save the date” August 21, 2011 – our annual Summer BBQ will be held at Bro. Ted Smith’s house again – look for more details in the next Summons.
