Brant Lodge welcomed two new members on Saturday May 17 at our 357th Emergent meeting. Bro. Brown and Bro. Craig were initiated according to Ancient custom, including being left to their thoughts in a traditional Chamber of Reflection. The degree team performed well, and both candidates enjoyed their instruction in the first degree.
When lodge was closed, the members and two visitors opened a Table Lodge of Instruction, and enjoyed an excellent dinner, featuring beef and chicken Caribbean roti, chicken curry, rice, salads and dessert. Those present participated in traditional toasts, as well as “charged their cannons” for some table lodge fun, including toasts from Massachusetts and Manitoba ritual, and “taking wine with the Worshipful Master” in the English tradition. Wonderful fellowship to end the year, with our June meeting being our Elections night.
