The January 2014 Regular Meeting featured Bro. Soper proving his proficiency in the EA degree followed by his FC degree, conferred according to Ancient Tradition. Bro. Soper’s memory work was commendable, and the degree team performed admirably on the evening. Bro. Soper’s brother was in attendance as well, marking the special occasion, and was greeted in the East by W.Bro. Eric Marshall as he presented Bro. Soper as “our newest FC.”
The banquet hour featured pulled pork sandwiches and a variety of beverages, making for a pleasant social hour. Those in attendance learned of the Temple Board’s decision to hire an Architect, who has begun drawing plans to install a lift in the building. If all goes according to plan, construction can begin this spring/summer, with completion in time for Brant Lodge’s Installation and Investiture of Officers.
It’s important to note the contributions of our newer/younger members, who made Bro. Soper’s evening a pleasant one – the Junior Warden and his Social Committee did a fine job on the evening…
Congratulations, Bro. Soper!
The February Regular Meeting will feature a further explanation of the Tracing Board in the FC degree, along with some additional Masonic Education and, as always, a lively banquet hour.
