March Regular Meeting Recap

On Monday March 19, Brant Lodge conducted a Second Degree,. the Candidate proved his proficiency in the former Degree with excellence and was Passed following Ancient custom. W.Bro. Lee Collins assumed the gavel for W.Bro. Christopher Webster, and the Degree team did a solid job throughout the evening.

The Brethren considered and subsequently voted in a Motion to have the Lodge donate $100 in seed money and solicit further donations from the members to make a donation to MasoniChIP at our April DDGM official visit. By the end of the evening, we added substantially to the seed money and our objective is to present R.W. Bro. Nick Ellis with a donation of at least $400 on the evening of his official visit. Members are encouraged to make their donations to W.Bro. Grant Wright, Secretary, who is collecting funds for our donation.

After the Candidate had proved himself and after he was Passed, Lodge was closed according to Ancient tradition and the Brethren retired to the Banquet Hall for lasanga, Caesar salad, refreshments and some Fellowship. The night was very pleasant and some members continued the evening over at The Queen’s Head to discuss plans for the upcoming meetings. Excellent food this evening, Brother Johnson!
