What an amazing surprise! Brant Lodge enjoyed strong support from visitors to fill the room with 40 Masons to support Bro. Paul Bonham at his initiation into Freemasonry. The Grand Junior Warden, R.W. Bro. Kelly Feldcamp paid us a visit and met Bro. Bonham on the level to present his grand lodge pin after the degree team did an excellent job conferring the EA degree.
Special thanks to the visitors from Niagara Lodge No. 2, Electric Lodge No. 495, St. John’s Lodge No. 40, St. Clair Lodge No. 135, Burlington Lodge No. 165 and Wellington Square Lodge No. 725 for their support, and W. Bros. Faucett, Scott and Horvath for joining W. Bros. Meecham and Maennling in the East.
After lodge was closed in harmony at 8:55PM, members and visitors enjoyed chili, salads, desserts and a special ‘nip of “Laird O’Fintry” whisky from Okanagan Distillers. Warm fellowship could be felt as the banquet hall remained busy from 9PM through 11PM with Masons catching up with each other and meeting new friends in support of Bro. Bonham.
It was also wonderful to play host to a group of Entered Apprentices from the visiting lodges, who watched our degree so they could reinforce the experience that they had on their initiation into Freemasonry.
