Brant Lodge’s new officers have been installed and W. Bro. Reg Meecham has continued his tenure as Worshipful Master for the 2018-2019 Masonic year. The ceremony was run smoothly by R.W. Bro. Eric Marshall in a lodge room full of members and visitors from around the district including R. W. Bro. Ian Anderson, District Deputy Grand Master of Hamilton District A.
V. W. Bro. Michael DeAbreu was presented with his Grand Steward regalia in a moving ceremony in which R. W. Bro. Eric Marshall, W. Bro. Reg Meecham and R. W. Bro. Ian Anderson spoke warmly of our newest Grand Lodge officer, who was joined by his spouse and daughter in the lodge room.
Afterwards, an excellent pork tenderloin dinner was served, paired with red wine and all of the time honoured toasts were made to the applause and enjoyment of the members and family present. Bro. Chris Soper, in his first banquet as Junior Warden, managed the banquet and chefs earning the praise of all present.
Congratulations, W. Bro. Meecham and the officers of Brant Lodge, along with V. W. Bro. Michael DeAbreu on a successful evening and good luck in the coming months!
