The Brethren of Brant Lodge No. 663 welcomed R.W. Bro. David Midgley, D.D.G.M. of Hamilton District “A” on his official visit April 18, 2016. After enjoying an excellent meal prepared by our Junior Warden, 75 Masons attended Lodge together and the F.C. degree was conferred on Bro. Krone according to ancient custom.
It was also an honour to welcome the D.D.G.M. of Waterloo District and also the D.D.G.M. of Brant District, who joined the W.M., Matthew Maennling, in the East along with R.W. Bro. David Midgley.
The continuing support of the sick and visitation committee was highlighted when Bro. Stevenson rose to thank the members of Brant Lodge for their support during his wife’s convalescence. The S.W. was thanked for his stewardship of the sick and visitation committee, and the Junior Warden was acknowledged for preparing a delicious striploin beef dinner for all.
