The 2015 Christmas Dinner was well-attended, with over 60 guests enjoying the fine catering of Toni Birtch at the Tyandaga Golf Course. Bro. Meecham was the emcee for the evening and introduced Bro. Soper with whom he launched our next charity campaign – this time to support Halton Women’s Place with in-kind donations of supplies and sundries to help support women in crisis.

Bro. Sprague delivered a stirring explanation of the “Ideal of a Freemason” for the benefit of guests and spouses – sharing what it means for a man to be a Freemason. After that, Bro. Lalonde said grace and the meal began – succulent beef tenderloin and roast chicken with salads and pasta.
The evening ended with the Junior Warden’s Toast and an appeal to all members and their spouses to make donations for the Halton Women’s Place throughout the rest of the Masonic Year. Our spouses will make deliveries to the shelter every couple of weeks, especially during the months of February and March, traditionally lean months for supplies and funds.
A wonderful time was had by all!
