The Brethren of Brant Lodge No. 663 held the annual Official Visit of the District Deputy Grand Master, and celebrated long service awards for Bro. Papagiannis, Bro. Price, W.Bro. Price and W. Bro. Schobel. W.Bro. Eric Marshall supervised a ballot for Mr. Bowles, who will be Initiated into Freemasonry during the May regular meeting.
After a successful FC degree for a Candidate from Wellington Square Lodge No. 725, the Brethren were treated to a stirring lecture about the Forget-Me-Not pin, used as symbol of solidarity and mode of recognition among Freemasons during the Nazi Holocaust in WWII. The Brethren were reminded of their sacred duty to preserve free thought and speech, freedom of religion, support of democratic governance and of course Fraternity, Equality and Charity.
After the Work of the evening was concluded, the Brethren and visitors retired to the banquet hall for some light refreshments and fellowship.
